Go ahead and bring all of your stress with you, place it in the shared fire pit upon arrival and burn at your convenience. Stress and angst provide good fuel for S’mores.
You will need clothing, food, drinks, and toiletries.
Insect repellent and high SPF sunscreen are highly recommended. The sun is stronger than you think.
Bring your favorite DVDs or Blu-rays for rainy days (s’mores can be made in the microwave after all.)
Grill must remain on the grass, not the deck. The deck is Trex, not wood, and will melt. Please stay away from the propane tank to avoid a posthumous Darwin Award.
The upstairs of Red Camp is the owner’s suite with a private entrance, and completely separate from the first floor rental unit. It is primarily unoccupied when the first floor is rented, however, you will be made aware at the time of your request for rental dates if the owner will be in residence.
The green camp next door and the RV space on the right side of Sawmill Dr. are also owned by the Webb/King family and may be occupied by family or rented. The middle yard, fire pit and horseshoe pit are shared by all. Most renters are longtime family friends that we now consider family. If you need any assistance in any way, contact the numbers in the Welcome book, or knock on the door of the green camp or any neighbor.
If total privacy is your main goal, the deck is on the north side of the house for a reason. Simply make your needs known when making your rental date request and you will be accommodated to the best of our ability.
Please let us know if you have any questions or if there is information you need that is not provided in the web page.
The internet is limited and will not support online gaming. If you plan on downloading movies, please download on your device before coming up to camp.
Before you leave home: turn ON wifi calling on your cell phone unless you're going Old School and shunning electronics in favor of nature and meaningful conversation.
Let us help you get ready for your get-away!
Our standard rentals are Saturday 3pm to Saturday 11am. Please contact us for availability and rates. We look forward to hearing from you.
